What are the advantages of multi-bore structures over single-bore structures?
Multi-bore structures, such as the 0.9 mm UF PES SevenBore® and Multi-bore, offer better pressure resistance and a lower chance of fibre breakage due to internal support. Single-bore structures, such as 1.5 mm and 2.2 mm, are better resistant to clogging in water with high turbidity.
How does the fibre diameter affect filtration performance and application possibilities?
Smaller fibre diameters, such as 0.9 mm, provide more efficient filtration at lower pressure. Larger diameters, such as 2.2 mm, are better suited for water with high turbidity or for concentrating organic material, as they are less likely to become clogged.
